The MP1591A provides large capacity, multi-slot test capability for diversified networks with both line (SONET/SDH/OTN) and client (Ethernet) sides. The MP1591A is the ideal solution when working with increasingly common multiport equipment; it has expansion slots for up to 16 interface modules, and the 10GbE interface module supports LAN-PHY measurements. The MP1591A supports the modules used in the MD1230/MP1590 families. An example of its high capacity its ability to support up to 128 10/100/1000 BASE-T Ethernet ports in a single chassis.
