Description:
The VA3 is more than a two-channel data collector. If tri-axial data is needed, one port can be configured to process three channels simultaneously. There is a trigger/tachometer input that allows phase analysis and two plane balancing.
This unit is Adash’s newest addition to its line of data collectors and online monitoring systems. This unit is ideal for those who want a professional level data collector and balancer but without needing a complex four channel unit.
An infrared sensor to 730F is provided to monitor temperature and trend of bearings. The VA3 can be used for up to 10 hours of operation with field swappable batteries.
It has a color display with a 240x320 resolution. Its onboard strobe light helps determine shaft speeds, and then it can convert to a torch flashlight for dark areas so you can collect data safely and get machine nameplate info when needed. The VA3 has a an 8GB internal flash disc and a USB 2.0 high speed interface. It weighs less than 2 pounds, making one-handed operation a snap.
Like other Adash products, the VA3 will interface with DDS2014 Digital Diagnostic Software. There is a free version of the software that will allow for data collection and route transfer.
