The 40G/100G Ethernet Analyzer MD1260A is ideal for manufacturing inspection of transmission equipment supporting 40G/100G ethernet, as well as for installing and commissioning networks. It is a measuring instrument for assuring the quality of high-speed networks forming the foundation of next-generation applications for cloud computing.I/F upgrade according to budget and schedule
One MD1260A supports 40G/100G Ethernet, OTU3, and OTU4. Each interface is optional and can be added easily when necessary.
*The optical Input/Output interface supports exchange of the CFP module.
Excellent operability with rugged, compact, lightweight construction and silent design
Operation is easy with a large 12.1-inch touch panel and intuitive GUI, and drive crashes are a thing of the past due to the rugged solid-state Flash drive. The small footprint (341 [W]221.5 [H]200 mm [D]) and light weight (_8 kg) offer easy portability to even the most difficult test sites. The silent design provides a quiet, comfortable working environment.
Evaluation function supporting 40G/100G Ethernet unique latest technology
Skew margin is tested by generating and monitoring skew per lane or all lanes. Since the electrical I/F(CAUI/XLAUI) can be output externally, standalone CFP tests and fault isolation between the CFP and transmission equipment are both supported.
Supports OTU4 – GMP mapping
Mapping Ethernet client signals to OTU4 signals using GMP (Generic Mapping Procedure) supports verification closer to real operation.
Supports sweep ping function
This function executes ping while changing the Ethernet frame length automatically. It can be used to easily and comprehensively check the Ethernet connection frame length dependence.
