New Software 4.x Simplifies Test Setup and Analysis of Complex Modulated Optical Signals
The next generation of optical modulation analyzer software offers a smart way to set up the instrument and integrates the hardware control of Keysights optical modulation analyzer family N4391A and N4392A and the standalone analysis software. Engineers can now set up their instruments by just entering a few parameters describing the optical input signal, increasing test efficiency by cutting the number of steps in half. By automating the execution of tests, the software also minimizes testing errors.
This analysis software from the N4391A optical modulation analyzer can be used on your PC without any instrumentation. It offers all the analysis capabilities of the N4391A including its advanced signal processing algorithms for complex modulated optical signals. Use this software to process and analyze raw data stored as .sdf, .mat or .csv files from N4391A and N4392Ameasurements. This capability allows you to work with the data as if youwould work directlyin front ofthe instrument. It is an excellent tool for developing your own signal processing algorithms and testing them off-line, together with your MATLAB compiler. In addition, this software is an effective tool for learning basic and advanced concepts of complex optical modulation, based on stored files.
The software can be extended with an additional license to provide control of one or two Keysight Infiniium oscilloscopes.
